Colour is one of the elemental entities of visual art. It’s defined scientifically as the property possessed by an object producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way an object reflects or emits light.
I believe we introspectively perceive colour subjectively given that colour is a very intimate and personal existence, provoking sensibility, emotion, impression and expression.
Emotions are not concrete or tangible, yet with this being said as an artist I have the ability to visualize emotions through colour, line, texture, and form.
These paintings embody the essence of experience and emotion through the medium of paint and the notion that colour itself is a result of the spectrum of light.
