Elemental

The Elemental Series was highly influenced by nature and how I see the natural world. The series was also influenced technically from the Synesthesia Series from 2016. I was using similar materials and techniques but the Elemental Series was rhythmically unique.

These painting spung from an origin of spontaneity, where the surfaces of each piece lushly flow with transparency, vibration and floating in juxtaposition.

These paintings are void of any narrative or a focal point, but instead they are non-representational, non -objective picture planes resonating in the realm of the unseen. In many ways these are spiritual accounts that capture the essence of circumstance and experience.

Substantively these are creative descriptions of individuality and independence, dwelling in place that metaphorically speaks a dialect of harmony and contrast.
